Good Clean Fun

So by January, I don't know about anyone else, but I'm getting pretty desperate for fun indoor activities.  I was a little scared that G would get it in her eyes or try to eat it, but neither happened.  I highly recommend this activity.  M loved making huge puffy clouds, G (although hesitant to get her hands dirty at the beginning) loved painting her tray and her arm, my table smelled very clean, they were thoroughly entertained for at least 5 minutes and it cleans up easily.  That and they can't wait to do it again.  Score!

SNOW

These pics were from the beginning of December.  It was the first "real" snow of the year and G's first experience with the white stuff.  G is not so sure about it.  She has a hard time walking in all her snow gear, but she does love sledding down the driveway.  M, on the other hand, loves the stuff.  The other day I told the snow to go away and M's response, "No, Mommy!  I want it to keep snowing so that I have lots to play in."  And since we keep getting a little snow each day, she may get her wish. 

 If anyone has a shortage of snow (AZ friends...hint, hint), you are more than welcome to come over and play in ours.  The temps are in the balmy 20s.  You may not need your flip-flops though!  :)

Aunt Again

Meet my new nephew.  He was born on January 6th (barely...it wasn't the 6th any more on the East Coast).  The barely part is important because his uncle  had predicted that he would be born on the 6th.  I predicted that he would be born on the 9th.  Have I ever mentioned how much I hate to lose?  Well, I do and to make it worse my husband is quite proud of himself and made sure to rub it in ALL day.  Way to give your uncle a big head, baby boy!   

Despite the fact that he has already caused me to lose, I love him, think he is absolutely A-DOR-ABLE, and can't wait to meet him!!!
