M LOVES music. She always has. I knew she loved it before she was even born. The girl can NOT sit still if a song with a good beat is on (well actually she has so much energy these days that she NEVER sits still and it makes me exhausted just to watch her, but...). She must dance. She is very much her Daddy's girl in that way. She is really enjoying her dance class and it is fun to watch her learning new things.

We've got a walker!
For the past month G has been a walker/crawler. She would walk a few steps, fall, and decide that crawling was still faster, but by Halloween she had decided that she was ready to be a WALKER!!! I'm loving her new found skill although it is much trickier keeping track of both girls at the park or zoo now.

That's Better
I finally decided (and convinced Daddy) that it was time to cut G's hair. She was starting to look very shaggy and like maybe nobody loved her. Bye-bye mullet! Hello cute little girl hair! Now that it is done, I wish that we had done it earlier. It looks SO much better.
I thought we'd be in for lots of screaming.
Except for needing to switch parents near the end, she did great.

Special Visitors
My parents were able to come and visit us the last week of October. Aaron also had some time off while they were here so we packed up the car and went and explored a part of MI that we had never seen, Traverse City. Despite the rainy weather, the leaves were still beautiful, the sand dunes were fun, and Lake Michigan was still impressive....makes the lakes I grew up with in CO seem more like puddles.
M quickly got over her fear of jumping in and was launching herself into the water.
During our second trip to the pool, she kept having Aaron move farther away from her and despite her giant jumps, Daddy was still having to launch himself forward to be there to catch her. I haven't decided who was more fun to watch jump.
M was decorating Gramma's pockets.
Love this one.
This may be my all time favorite pic of me and my mom.
I think I may need to frame it.
The explorers reach the top of the sand dune.
Action shots.
I'm not sure that she enjoyed the sand dunes much? :)
G did great walking with Papa and Gramma, but as soon as they hit the sand she wasn't so sure of the squishy stuff under her feet and she definitely didn't like touching it with her fingers.
Thanks for visiting us, Papa and Gramma!
Love you.
